I am installing a Code Alarm 425A alarm with 545 remote start. According to my documentation ignition #1 must be isolated with a relay for remote start and ignition #2 does not. The alarm requites a +12V feedback signal into the alarm to initiate programming and various other functions. The isolation relay prevents this. A simple solution would be to switch the ignition #1 and #2 wires going into the alarm/remote start. Otherwise it will require an elaborate relay network to accomplish this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

bypass the relay while you program it?  but I don't think it will affect it, I think that the relay is only activated when the car is remote started right?

I solved the problem by simply switching ignition #1 and #2 wires and left the relay as is. Bypassing the relay for programming worked but the system relies on input from the ignition for other functions. Switching the wires worked perfectly. Thanks.
