We're doing a remote start/ alarm combo and the brand is a tach less remote start but instead we are suppose to hook up a battery charge indicator wire or possibly a oil pressure wire that senses ground when the vheicle is OFF and 12v+ when the vehicle is RUNNING... PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED ASAP!!!!!!!!!

This would be the alternator sense wire found on the alternator. It will test exactly as you mentioned in your post. There is usally a single or 2 pin plug attached to the alternator that will react like what you described.
