I am a total newbie to this. i have been looking around, and it seems that all remote starters come with an alarm of its own. i dont want that alarm, so is there any remote starters that just are remote starters w/o the alarm?!!?

There are lots. Compustar have the 1WAM-S , 2WFM-S or the 1WFM-S. All these are great remote starter units and are relatively easy to install depending on the vehicle.
