Hi
I am trying to install cm3000 into Honda Prelude '95. I bought aftermarket door lock kit because there was no lock motor in drivers door. Kit included 2 motors and controller unit (i need only one motor). I have installed about everything else but cannot figure how to wire my new lock motor...
From lock motor comes four wires which all go into lock-system controller unit. Into lock controller unit goes also red wire from battery and ground. From controller unit comes out two wires: brown and white. When i connect brown into ground, lock arms. When i connect white into ground, lock disarms. If i connect these two wires brown and white together, lock arms and when i separate and connect those again lock disarms.
My manual says that cm3000 alarm has two outputs for controlling lock: Blue wire (+) Lock 250mA (-) Unlock 250mA Blue/Bk wire (-) Lock 250mA (+) Unlock 250mA
How should i connect these so i could control lock throug h alarm?
I was quite desperate and tried following set: I connected Blue wire into lock controller units brown wire and Blue/Bk wire into lock controller units white wire. Result was that lock opened but did not close. When i switched wires, lock closed but did not open.
I have wired about everything else but door locks. I have added one aftermarket actuator motor into drivers door. From this motor goes 4 wires into interlock controlling unit.

Hmm... nevermind the last two lines. Those should have not come with the original message.

I have never seen a Compustar unit with alternating polarity door lock outputs. If thi sis the case then you will need relays to activate the two wires ( BROWN & WHITE ) from the motor. Set it up so that you use the (-) trigger from the Compustar unit.

Umm... i didn't get it.
My aftermarket door lock kit included controller unit which (i believe) contains locking and unlocking relays. Problem is that i don't know how to wire my outputs from alarm to this lock controlling unit.
Alarm is Magicar 302f which is made by compustar, brain is cm3000 (localized here in europe as "Magicar").

...and to make problem more clear: these wires (BROWN and WHITE) are coming from lock controller unit, not directly from lock motor.
