Doesn't sound good. I would start by unhooking any wire that goes into any multiplex wire. Also you need to check all fuses interior and under the hood.

Always check info with a digital multimeter.
I promise to be good.
Tell Darwin I sent you.

I've been sick lately, sorry I won't be on much.

try using a digital multimeter  to check your fuses bcuz a fuse might look okay but once you test it you'll find out it's not.check under fuse block under the hood and inside too just like auex said.

tach wire isn't hooked up.I have the ignition hooked up like this,
86.- from r/s
85.to pink/white ignition wire
30.to violet/tan body side
87.to violet/orange (mux ground)w/500ohm resistor
87a.toviolet/tan key side

violet/tan acts as a second ignition & 2nd start wire.is it possible that the problem is here at the relay?

You need two relays to trigger the violet/tan. One to act as an accessory and the other to act as a starter. The resistor values are different, and are listed as different values by many different companies.

Did you isolate the parklight wire from the switch...  I seen this same problem and it was the parklight wire.  Isolated it and all was good.  I know you can get away with it on the caravans but these 300's are really picky.

Yeah man you need two relays with different resistance for acc and 2nd starter.     One resistance was 610 and the other was 180. (I think)       DEI has a direct fax document that explains it perfectly.    I had some recent issues on a 300c and once I got that document everything worked perfect.      I had the same diagram that you were using and trust me it isnt right.

Today I tried the DEI method and the check engine light kept coming on,so I went to the last diagram I had from installercentral.com. it worked perfectly!I had a lot of time in this car(wasted time). Finally the costumer and Me are satisfied.
