Got a mk1 MR2 T-Bar at the moment. It's fitted with a Toad alarm. The remote for it has 1 green button and 1 black button.
The green button locks and unlocks it.
Can't figure out what the black one does.
It automatically locks after key is in ignition and when you switch her off, take key out and walk away without pressing green button.
Anyways, I want to be able to leave her parked with the roof panels off her, but the alarm goes off (really bloody loud) with the wind and I can't seem to find a way to disarm the alarm . . . . any help would be much appreciated Rolling Eyes
(yes . . . . I'm probably being very blonde!!)
just the wind sets it off? wow, haha, if you want to (not totally sure what kinda alarm it is) but most alarms have a separate shock sensor, you will be able to find this under your dash somewere, most of them will have some kind of small ajustment screws that you can screw CCW to make it a little less sensitive,,, and that black button could be a panic, or a trunk release, try holding it down for a few seconds, see if your car does anything new.. haha, might be an option that was never hooked up,

If you use it. Suport it. Donate to the 12 volt!
Thank you - I will look into it a bit further.
I have tried holding the black button down, pressing before and after the green button, but it doesn't appear to do anything.
The Toad 101 has on board ultrasonics. If you arm with the roof off they will false as they pick up air movement. You can temporarily bypass them by arming with the green button, then pushing it again within 3 seconds. Doors etc stay protected.
The black button allows silent arming. Push black and green together.
