I'm installing a Viper 791XV on a 94 Honda Civic and I'm wondering where is the best place to place the antenna?

No set rules here. Follow the install manual. Keep it away from other antenna, power wire and any electronic device.    I preferred to use the top driver side corner. Easy to work with and has work well for me.

a lot of people run them like pencil said, most dealers too, horizontal in the corner, this will be fine, best range is top center, run it so it goes down, do it by the mirror and you wont even really see it,, you can put it under a dash pannel,, or something like that, i have done that for picky customers, but you will loose some range,, so it's up to you what your going for, the reason for making the antena face down is that sometimes the factory tint *suposedly* can interfear with range, i'm not sure about that, but it seems to work best down in center,,, good luck
