I'm getting ready to install a code alarm remote starter on my F-350 and I have found the location of all the wires except the "wait to start" indicator lamp.  Does anyone know where that is?

Also, does anyone know if you need relays with the code alarm kit to reverse polarity?

Thanks so much!

Evan

So the other problem I'm having is with the door locks.  The information I've found indicates the pink/green and pink/white above the gas petal.  However, when I use them, it appears to be putting voltage on as the petal is pressed.  Is that the correct location?  Also, the '99 F-350 is negative switched so I have to put a relay in place, right?

THanks again!

pink/green and pink / YELLOW. Neg trigger ONLY if the truck has factory keyless.

Otherwise rev polarity the wires are found in the PASSENGER kick

Odd spot don't ya think,,, thy are there!!

So since I don't have the factory keyless entry I need to find the pink / YELLOW and pink/green wires in the passenger kick and use relays there (since the activation off the csi-400 puts off positive voltage)

That would be a 5 wire Reversal with 2 Relays for Lock & Unlock

OK - so now I'm confused.  I don't have a pink / YELLOW or a pink/green at the passenger kick.  I do _not_ have factory keyless either.  But, I do have a pink/green and a pink / YELLOW above the gas petal.  Those are the wires I should be snipping into?

Thanks!!

When I put a meter between the switch and motor in the door assembly, it shows 0 volts at rest and +12 volts on activation of the switch.  I have the pink / YELLOW and pink/green there.
