The programming manual is a separate paper.
Programming goes like this:
1. Key on.
2. Tap valet switch three times; hear one short chirp....you are about to program channel 1...which is lock.
3. Press lock on the new transmitter; you'll hear a long, loud chirp.
4. Tap valet switch three times....two short chirps which is channel two....which is unlock.....push unlock and hear long, loud chirp..............
4. Keep on going just like that..... channel three is the green RS button........ channel four is the gray Option button.
P.S. The unit only holds four remotes........... if you want to "kick out" any lost or stolen remotes, just "fill" all four "slots" with the remote(s) you have now.......... for example, if you press "lock" four times during programming with your new remote, you'll fill up all four slots, and any other remotes will no longer work.
