i founbd some bulk wire its is 18 gage, will this be ok for useing after market door locks. i ahve 2 rolls of it, and its blue and green,at 500 feet each roll, i feel luckly. that if it be ok to use this size, now only used 16 gage to run wires for locks.

It's fine. If it pretty good quality wire, why not. Your not really powering up the city block anyways.
