I'm installing a Prestige Keyless Entry and Remote starter Aps685. Well I got the remote start hooked up and running fine. My problem is that my dodge uses a (+) single wire for the power locks. It says to install two resistors on the unlock side use a 750 ohm and lock side a 1800 ohm. So, I popped in to the nearest Radio Shack and they start whipping numbers at me. Does anyone know what the tolerance % i need to use and the watts I need for the resistors?

1/4 watt will be fine. Any tolerance will be ok.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Chrysler uses a (+) trigger and most units have a (-) trigger. Relay used to reverse polarity.
