Hey 12volt's

I was hoping that someone could help me out installing the e-brake to my alarm. I want to connect the e-brake to my alarm so that when the e-brake is up then the car starts but when the e-brake is down that the car will not start. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Is there a wire in the alarm for specific use and where does it get connected to the car?

I'm going to spin the wheel.... okay... here it goes....

You have a 2002 Jetta Wagon GLS

Okay, on all MKIV (or A4, if you prefer), parking brake will be found at the relay maked '173' in the relay distribution panel beneath the CCM. (Comfort Convenience Module). I believe it is pin 7..... you will have to double check that with a multimeter.

PS: you are installing a manual transmission specific starter, right? not just trying to 'make' an automatic one work in a mnual car, are you? Stuff like that scares me.... I hope it dosen't accedentally run over someone you love......
