Yes its me yet Again....!!!!!  While I am much closer to a finished product I am clsoer to the finish line .. ( Thanks to all the help here at 12volt.com!!!

With that I am here again to pick all of your minds for another answer!!!

The Vehicle is a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT w/ Keyless and Content Alarm

Alarm/Remote Start
Viper 550ESP
DEI 555L GM Passlock II Interface
DEI 455G Trailblazer Door Lock Interface

I was having problems with the Remote Start triggering the alarm, because the Violet (+ Input) of the 550ESP was hooked together with the Grey/Black of the 455G. Hence, Factory alarm unarms for remote start, light goes on, alarm is triggered.....

I disconnected the Violet of the 550.. Which now presents me with three problems....

First, 550esp now arms itself with the door open (since violet is not detecting +12 w/ door open)

Second, Can not enter program mode... since door needs to be open and needs to see +12 on violet

Third , for the same reason can not use remote to enter valet mode.

I am at a loss to come up with a solution....

Again, I thank you all in advance for all your help

The grey/black of the 455G should go to the grey/black at an interior or courtesy light.

It will then output a negative door trigger on the light green wire. This will go to the green -ve trigger on the 550ESP.

If you are really hard up to program something.... ground the green -ve door input wire on the brain..... makes the alarm think a door is open, right?

Gus
PS: You won't need the violet + door input on the 550ESP if you wire the 455G correctly.......

Wherever I go, that is where I end up......

gus:

The grey black is hooked up to the grey black of the courtesy light and the green is hooked up to the green of the 550esp... However the system still does the problems I described above.. I triple checked the wiring of the 455g and it appears to be correctly installed.

The programming the 550esp is not a huge issue, however... The 550esp arming with the door open and not being able to enter valet mode with the remote are ....
