Hello,

I am about to put a full alarm with remote start on a 99 Ford contour. The Information from 12 volt seem straight forward, but I wanted to know why the word heater was put next to the ignition wire location?

This What I meant:

Wire                                Color                            Wire Location

Ignition                           Green                           Ignition Switch Harness (heater)

That indicates that it also supplies 12V to the heater/AC. In some vehicles when installing a remote start you'll need to connect to a second ignition lead (shows 12V+ when the key is in the run position only) to enable the heater/AC to work when running by remote start.
