I am looking to purchase 3 remote starter units to install on a 1996 Ford Taurus, 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and 2002 Nissan Exterra.  I am looking for keyless entry as well.  I would like to get a unit that is low cost, and provides maximum distance for remote operation.  Can anyone please give me some recommendation on units to look at purchasing that will provide fairly easy installation?  I currently have a Dynatech CRS600OP installed on my 2001 Sport Trac, which I had installed by a local company, but I ended up re-wiring the unit myself because it was not installed correctly.  Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have found a unit from Ace Distributing RES-R which is only about 45.00, but I don't know anything about the unit itself, and they didn't know anything about a transponder bypass for the 1996 Ford Taurus.

I personally deal with D.E.I products(Viper) They are pretty good as far as installation, and a good product.  Check with Jeff at Velocity Motor Sports. He carrys Aladin products I believe. He can take care of you.

The RES-R by Impulse is not a very good system. You get what you pay for and if you want a reliable remote starter we can hook you up with some decent units. The price of the RES-R is very convincing to buy, but remember that it's going to cost you more in the end if the unit can not integrate with the car or if problems happen after installation. We can get you bypass modules as well for the Ford. Give me a call or email me .
