What can I use to add a start on a high temperature to an APS996?  Crimestopper has an RS-400, but it appears to be a start on cold temp unit. Any ideas out there?

Well I thin DEI makes a window module that will vent the windows at a certain temp. Alot of times these modules have a output to activate a 2nd window unit. This might able to be attached to the alarm, IF the alarm has a wire that will instantly start the car when the wire goes to ground. Or have the output of the window unit flip a relay instead of the window.

Good luck

A regular thermostat (home one for electric heating)

Generate a single pulse to trigger the starter (use a pulse generator or cap and a relay as the pulse generator.

1500 or 2000 uF 25v (polarized) in serial with the coil of a relay.

Bigger will be the cap longer will be the pulse.
