cranks but doesnt turn over? im assuming you mean it cranks but doesnt START with the remote starter? if thats the case your probably missing an ignition wire. you should have a BLACK / YELLOW as your ignition wire to be powered up while remote starting and a yellow wire for your accessory wire to be powered up.

well it sounds like your key has a chip in it and if you did not bypass it with a resistor or any other means the car will not start not exactly sure if that is yoru problem but its just something to check out i know i had to bypass the chip on my car for the remote start.

r u using voltage or tach?

Sounds like alarm may be prorgrammed for tach and you are trying voltage sense.

Not for the 1995 Civic. Will not require one.

sounds like the problem is code alarm, they suck. good luck. i had the pleasure of installing a code piece that a customer brought me and the thing was nothing but a pain in the ass.

92- 95 civics are simple to do. did you tap your starter wire after the kill relay. if so it has to be the rs.

did you get the correct tach wire and did you program the tach wire so your alarm could read the rpms?

you have to engage the starter wire to crank the engine over. if  your alarm is on and you tapped before the starter kill relay the engine wont crank over.

You need to be "down stream" from the kill relay.....(towards the starter) If your on the "up" side of the starter wire(key side) when the system is armed....the starter wire is OPEN.....=NO START. Does this make sence?
