Hi I Have a Impluse-RES Add-on Remote start for factory keyless/alarm

Its currently installed on a 2001 Chrysler sebring Coupe. I have the transponder Kit installed and the remote start works perfecty!! (installed myself). But i do have 1 question, does the wire that goes to the parking lights need to be on a relay?? becasue i hooked it up to the parking light wire (pink/black), and when i activate the remote start.. she starts then it just shuts off.. and it restarts fine and then shuts off..but when i unhook that parking light wire the car starts normaly and it runs fine...

what is the problem...and If i do need a relay can u please tell me what wire goes where.

the instruction manual says it does not require a relay..

but i value your guys opinions on here so i will take your guys adivce 1st! Thanks!!!

Your white wire should be hooked up to a BLACK / YELLOW wire in the drivers kick panel.  The black yellow should be +12v when the park lights are on and ground when they are off.  Test with a DMM.

The PARKING LIGHTS +|grn/wht or pnk/blk is located  low in drivers kick panel. These wires test the way player69 says above, no relay necessary. Make sure you test the output of the RES-R to ensure that it is in fact outputtinh a (+) signal when remote starting.

He means low as in probably close to the floor boards. These will be the wires going to the rear of the car in a big harness.
