Hello folks, it's the annoying noob again :)
I have a Clifford Concept 600 Alarm, and I read in the wiring specs that there is a Yellow Accessory (-) wire that I can use for air horns. I'm assuming I can use this for my piezo as well (programmable Constant/Pulsed), but I have absolutely no idea how to take that one (-) Yellow wire and plug it into the two + and - wires on my piezo siren.
My best guess is using a relay, but from what I see on this website, those are used to convert one type of trigger into the opposite type of output: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page1.asp
Any type of help would be greatly appreciated.
God bless,
Tony.
U got it.................
Ground Negative side of Piezo:
1 SPDT Relay:
PIN 87 = Positive Wire to Piezo
PIN 30 = 12 Volt Positive Constant
PIN 86 = 12 Volt Positive Constant
PIN 85 = Negative (Yellow ) wire from Alarm

Hello MO,
Thanks for your reply. Not sure I get it though
Where do I connect pins 30 & 86? The diagram on this page says 12V+ Fused:
https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page1.asp
I just have no idea what to do with that wire!
Thanks,
Tony.
Here's what I get so far...
85: Plug the (-) cable from the alarm
87: Plug into the (+) wire of the Piezo
Connect the (-) wire of the Piezo somewhere on the body for ground.
Do I even need pins 30 & 86? If so, connect them together as the diagram shows, and plug them where?
Cheers,
Tony.
PIN 30 & PIN 86 go to a 12 Volt Positive CONSTANT Source in your Vehicle. Such as the Constant source your Alarm is hooked to or a battery lead
Be sure & fuse the lead

Sweet! Thank you pencil!
I was actually looking for the 12volts ignition wire. Can I just choose between the pink/black and red wires?
pink/black (30A), red (20A)
Use the pink/black. 30Amp

Cool - thanks a lot.
One more question though - just want to make sure I don't blow anything up :)
I'll still need to fuse the cable coming from (12volt+ Fused) 30&86 that will plug into the pink/black cable, correct?
That should be enough of the noob for a while :)
Tony.

That's correct!

Thank you pencil and MO, you guys have been very helpful.
I'll probably give it a crack tomorrow and see how it goes. Hopefully won't blow anything up :)
Next project after this, door actuators on my TJ. Should be fun!
Tony.
