Is it worth it to install a starter/ignition kill if you already have a factory engine immobilizer for an added layer of protection?? What is everyones take on this?

Up to me as well as you don't install a car starter you will not compromise the security of your car. Then it's kind hard to steal a transponder equiped vehicle and to run with it on it's power. A towing may take the car very fast so a good glass break protection + the DEI Tilt sensor and if possible a tracking system.

A Starter kill is not good or worth nothing over a transponder.
A transponder will not beat a towing.

But Guys like a few of us on this board Could probably stole anything By Chance we are Good guys.

Montrealler hit the nail on the head with this topic. It's worth every penny to put extra security on your vechile for something you work so hard for. As Montrealler indicated, you will compromise the security of your car when ever you install a remote starter. My advice, spend the extra time on hiding the transponder well when ever you are installing a remote starter.
