i have a viper 791 hooked up into my 98 eclipse GSX, i did it myself, but the problem is, the starter starts, then dies within 1-2 seconds. whats going on?

did you conect the tach, if not you have to program to tachless mode, if you did tach you have to program to and make sure to start with ( * ) don't use lock and unlock thas turbo timer

So your saying that the starter engages and the car runs but only for a couple of seconds or the starter starts for a couple of seconds ? Make sure that you do not have feedback on the brake wire and also test your ground to ensure a proper, solid ground. I have seen systems where everything was wired properly but no start and I checked the ground and that was the problem.
