My friend and I just finished installing the Hornet 740T on '99 Integra.   Couple things happened:

1) The windshield wiper won't work on INT setting.  Other position will work, but once turn OFF, the wiper won't return back to the bottom.  :(

2) The rear window defogger also doesn't work.  Once I push the button, nothing happens.  :errr:

3)  The driver side door open switch now won't activate alarm; no dome light when open door also.  The rest of 3 doors still work as normal.

Anyone has idea of where to start on troubleshooting?   Could this be dome light supervision relay causing the problem?   Your help is greatly appreciated.

sounds like the first ign supply to the fuse box has been broken and the dome light maybe you have shorted it out check fuses.

have you put the right suply to the dome light circuit and how have u connected it.

the ignition circuit u could have broke when taping into it let me know how you have done these connections.

Thanks for the quick reply.   Once I get out of work, I will check out the fuses.

I tapped the yellow wire from alarm to the yelllow wire at the switch harness.    And 12 v. from the white wire.

After spending time look through the wiring, I found that my friend forgot to connect the cable at the back of control unit which make a couple of setting do not work properly.  Now everything seems to be back to normal.  posted_image
