i want to change the remote on this alarm because the batt in the keypad keeps going flat and it is too big so i wanted to know is it possible to programe another keypad into this system i.e off the gen 5 cliffords

the 1 way remote part # is 472X....

not sure i understand the question... it's a remote transmitter.... you learn it to the unit and then you use it to arm and disarm the system, just like the 2 way remote...... it couldnt really be simpler.....

Matrix and G5 lines are completely different.  The only other remote that will work is the "companion" remote, which is 1-way only, PN's 472V, 472P, or 472X.  They are much smaller than the 2-way LCD's.
