Subject: TP-200D Window Rollup Module

I have a TP-200D Window module. I have looked at 3 different wiring color codes for my vehicle (1996 Mercury Villager) and with respect to the Windows Up/Down, none of them are the same. Here is what I have done so far with metering the switches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tell me if this is correct please. I put a multimeter on the wires for the power windows. The "at rest" reading is 0VDC (GND) and when I move the switch to "UP" the reading goes to ~12VDC. So that means they are positive so I would connect the TP-200D to provide 12V to the motor when triggered. Is this correct?

I want the windows to roll up when the alarm arms, so I would connect the Window Rollup Module wire from the brain to the (-) trigger on the module. Is this correct?

Finally, are the wires that I was measuring the voltages on the same wires that I cut and splice the module into?

Update.  I thought I had it figured out, but here is the current problem.  The windows roll up just fine, but they are rolling up when I "disarm" the alarm.  They are supposed to roll up when I "arm" the alarm.  What gives?

Check your Output from Alarm.   Sounds like U have the DisArm Output hooked to Roll Up Input

Thanks Mo.  I knew you would help me.  The output is listed as Window Module Output (-)  That is the only output listed.  I connected that output to the (-)Trigger on the TP-200D.  Perhaps I should connect it to the (+)Trigger on the TP-200D.  What do you think?

Thanks for the help PM.  I tested the output as you suggested and even though the manual for my alarm lists this output as (-) it was at 12v.  So I switched to the other input of the TP-200D and all is working great now.  Thanks for all the help guys.
