I am going to be installing a Remote Start for one of my friends. He has a 1998 Jeep Wrangler 4cyl, 5speed. What do you guys recommend for a remote start for manual transmission? The Jeep has no Power Windows or Locks and no A/C. It should be a relatively simple install. And it does have a neutral safety wire that I can tap into.

re manual remote start

since this is maual car it is essential that all sefety coneections are installed(hood pin switch and hand break ), tested and functioning properly for safe operation. Installation of any remote start system into a manual transmition vehicel is entirely at you're own risk,  inproper installatioin of the system  may result in injury or death.  remember if you by-pass the clucth switch make sure you the clucth returns to its original state once the until is done.

I am fully aware of the risks associated with installing a remote start on a manual transmission. If installed and operated correctly there should be no problem at all. I was just wondering what model would be best to go with.

I think the
Millennium MAX
MT-3000 - 2 way alarm starter system
would be good one its starter with alarm and pager

All the programing is done on the remote control i have this system on my Civic. this Unit can be changed from Auto To manual my removing a jumper.

That is a little on the high end. He only really wants the basics and something that is dependable. He doesn't care if it has an alarm or not.
