I was wondering how do I go a bout making my horn sound when my alarm goes off..I didn't just wnata blarring horn I wanted it to honk, somebody said I would need a ligh flasher module and an extra relay I have picked up both.. my car is a 88 Monte Carlo

i think that has a programable out put to be horn honk whitw w/ blue stripe i think id not het a relay hook 85 to dome supervison 86 to siren output 30 to ground and 87 to horn

thanks I needed to double check a few things the installer didn't do right...but can anyone still tell me how to add the horn honk feature?

Some Alarm units allow you to hook a Direct Negative Pulse for Horn to factory Horn Wire............While some require you to use a Relay for a stronger Ground Pulse for the Horn You Alarm Instructions should help. Otherwise when in doubt use a Relay OEM Horn | BLACK | (-) STEERING COLUMN HARNESS |

once again get a relay hook 85 to dome supervison 86 to the + siren output 30 to ground and 87 to the horn

so one informed me that if I were to do the horn honk as showed in the diagram that my horn would sound everytime the alarm is set..I only want it to sound if the alram is bein triggered
