Well it might just be the actual buzzer that is bad, you can use your meter to see if the wire shows ground when the key is in the cylinder. Either wire will work... Or you could just ground it {did I just say that out loud}

On this car you can just ground it. This car has a mechanical neutral safety switch which will physically not let the ign switch turn to crank unless the shifter is in park or neutral. And you shouldnt worry too mush about accentdally starting it in gear. The only way that can happen is if you deliberately turn on the key so you can take it out of park, and THEN press the remote start. So as long as you dont have kids in you car playing with your keys, you you pretty much be alright to just ground the neutral input wire.

I do have an automatic transmission, but everyone is assuming that it is a column shift car, its a SS so its a console shifter but the original shifter was replaced with a B&M shifter which has the little micro switch for the neutral saftety switch...

U got me there????>>>
The reference I posted was for Factory NSS.......
If U have a B&M, with a different type NSS, then get the Meter out and check........
Should have Negative when in Park...........
Not sure how your B&M NSS shows
