can anyone tell me the purpose of the large brown wire and small green wire in the ignition harness? i know the reds are +12, the orange is acc, the pink is ign, but what about the others?

what does the brownacc wire give power to, and what is key sense for? i thougth passlock 2 took care of that? thanks

Its for the radio....you need to use THIS wire with the passlock override module

i thought that the 3 tiny wires of white black and yellow were for overiding passlock2?

yes the small yellow wire is for the passlock 2....the brown wire is for the Radio.....the lt.green wire  is key sense (-)...if your sunfire has a factory alarm u may have to put an active out (-) to the key sense....the brown wire has absolutely nothing to do with the passlock 2, it is just an Acc circuit....hope this helps, sunfires and cavaliers are fairly simple cars in the grand scheme of things ,any other questions feel free to ask

ah i see, nope no factory alarm. i didnt understand why the car had a key sense wire, i see now. i am looking for circuit diagrams (actual circuit wire diagrams not a table of wire colors) for the car. happen to know where to look? also, since i dont need the radio for remote start, i dont need to wire add the brown to the remote starter unit?

Yes your are correct. The BROWN wire is not necessary for remote start.
