Notes:
*1 When doing remote start red should not be used for main power. Use pink/black. *2 6 cylinder signal on the V-6, 2 cylinder signal on the 4 cylinder engine. If BLACK/ gray on V6 causes starter to drag, use any one of the fuel injection wires at injectors at front of engine and set to one cylinder. The injector wire will be the one that IS NOT dk.GREEN/ orange. *3 Use positive (+) trigger thru a 620 ohm resistor to lock, and a positive (+) trigger thru a 2.7K ohm resistor to unlock. Must use relays. *4 In a three (3) pin connector near the door jam. *5 Lt.GREEN/ orange from driver's door or dk.GREEN/ orange from passenger or catch either at BCM located behind right side dash. Use a positive (+) trigger thru a 940 ohm resistor to arm, and a positive (+) trigger thru a 470 ohm resistor to disarm. Must use relays.

what exactly is the factory alarm do. is it just so the ignition wont start with out a key or what. I have had 2 different situations where peole have broke into my car and no alarm went off. do all 1999 chryler cirrus have this alarm from the factory or what is a way to determine if my car has this alarm. also where do I hook up these following wires or are they needed: 1) pulsed ground output before start 2) pulsed ground output after start 3) pulsed ground output after shutdown 4) ground output during start (crank) thank you so much for your help. I am in a bind my friend was helping me install this, he works at best buy but he got called to duty by the army reserves and left the job not completely finished. I am an EW technician in the navy so I know some what about electronics. Thanks alot.

what type of alarm do you have??
as far as the alarm , siplest way is to close all doors use key to lock doors from outside and look at the guages to see if an led lights up.the 4 wires are for the remote start hookup tell us if you have an alarm and if you have a grey key and we can help b etter.
