i'm in ireland over here we use the inducators instead of parking light to flash with the alarm..

What i want to know is instead of using a relay is there any diodes that i can get to stop feedbck current lightng both sides when indicating. I know how to wire the relay just think that the diodes would be handier for me..

6 amp diodes will work fine. I always use 6 amp. 3 amp diodes would probably work too. I have actually seen 1 amp diodes work fine, but you will have the occasion when they will burn up, so I wouldn't unless you like doing things twice. I wouldn't even know where to get 10 amp diodes.   6 amp are much easier to find.

tell me about it i can ger 6amp for €0.20 and i could only find   10A 800V and they where like €5.00 each

1amp will work but they do burn up fast!!!

suppose i'll just get 6amp and test them out see if they heat up

i was thinking of it all wrong. it just occured to me to see what the bulbs consume.

2 x 21w and 1 x 5w = 46w for each side

little calculation and i came up with 3.3A for each side. so i reckon a 6amp diode will stop any feedback EMF

ok i wired in the 6A diodes and all is well. ran current through the ciodes to light the lights for 90seconds to benchtest the diodes. and the heated a little but not too much. undernormal conditions the current wouldn't pass through the diodes for so long only time is when you unarm the alarm the light light for 30seconds.   so i'm happy everything is grand all light are behaving as they where meant to
