i need help - the vehicle i am trying to get into running order
(1992 Nissan Pathfinder SE) has been stored for several months. After removing/charging and reinstalling the battery - i cannot get it to start - the alarm seems to be overriding the ignition - all lights go on, windows open, doors lock and the car won't start. the only identifying marks i can find are on the relay under the hood next to the "siren/horn" device and it says
"PRO 9094C"
if anyone can identify this system from that information and tell me how i can bypass it (if possible) i would appreciate the information as i need to get this beast on the road.
thanks,
------------- brwski

go to the ignition switch and trace the starter wire see if its chopped anywhere for a starter kill.
has it got an alarm on it?

yes.
the biggest problem here is that the previous owners broke the remote and decided not to replace it (due to expense).

try pulling the fuses in the alarm and disconnecting the brain it should be up under the steering column

before you go into all this disconnecting and unplugging, see if there is a valet button or switch. sometimes alarm manufacturers run the starter wire and/or other vehicle wires through the brain. if you find one, press the button, turn on the ignition and wait up to ten seconds. this works for most units.
