just bought a truck second hand it has a Viper alarm with Remote Start, and that i know if, does not have a built in turbo timer. I need to add a turbo timer, and im wondering,. since both timer and rmtStart operate on iginition and brake pedal, will they interfere with eachother?

most turbo timers are supposed to work off the hand brake not the foot brake, so that the timer will only run on if the hand brake is on and the engine will shut off if the hand brake is dissengaged the only problem you may have is if the alrm is armed while the turbo timer is running, you will get a chirp back on the ignition wire so you need to take the ignition wire (thin yellow) and make sure it is connected to the acc wire then install the turbo timer and make sure it is only connected to the ignition wires this should fool the alarm into thinking the truck engine has stopped also make sure the immobiliser is connected only to the starter wire or when you arm your alarm the immobiliser will kick in and stop the engine good luck hope this help

damn it sounds like i should just sell this one and get an alarm that has turbo timer built in.
or, when using the turbo timer, i just manually lock the doors and dont use alarm.
i'll try. thanks!
