I need some help,

I just purchased and had installed the Clifford/DEI Matrix RS3.5 in a 2002 Explorer XLT. Everything works fine except the remote start feature. I have swapped out the Brain itself and still no luck. So here is the problem. When acivating the remote start, my vehicle starts without any problems, however by factory default, the start operation should run the vehicle for 12 minutes. My vehicle however will only run for 1 - 2 minutes and then shut off. I had the same problem with both brains, I have re-learned the tach signal multiple times and have sat in the vehicle to make sure that the tach is not jumping when the shudown occurs. I have tried with the AC on and off, radio on and off etc.. and nothing works. There is not even a setting for less than 12 minutes on this alarm unless a bitwriter is used which is not the case. Any help would be appreciated. I had the unit installed by a professional and they can not figure out the problem either. Please tell me what I am missing here. Another tidbit, the bypass module being used is DEI 556U. I know that it could not be the problem because the vehicle would not start if it was defective. Any ideas????? I just want the remote start to work as it gets real hot here in Las Vegas in the middle of the desert ;)

Have you tested the ground ? Also replace the fuses in the main line ( I'm grasping here ) but if there's a small break in a fuse, it will still work, but not 100 % of the time.

Thanks Everyone,

From what I have read in another forum post regarding the teach wire of this vehicle. I think it may be that the installed tapped off the coil pack. I am going to try another harness that has been reccomended and see if that works. There are quite a few people that reccomend agains the injector wire due to potential safety problems so I will try that as a last resort. I will let everyone know how it turns out.
