Hi there,
I'm looking for suggestions for adding a fuel cut relay to my 1992 Nissan 240sx. I am installing a Clifford alarm and remote start next weekend. What's the best way to do this, and still retain remote start and alarm features(in terms of simplicity, integration into the alarm, security).

My alarm unit has an output that is enabled when the remote start is in progress: I originally though I could use this, to enable the fuel pump when remote starting(and disabled all other times). However this wouldn't work when I manually start the car. Another option was to use the factory arm output, but this wouldn't work when the car is remote started, then automatically armed...

Any ideas? I'd rather not have to flip a switch or anything like that. This is an RSX3.5 two-way system FYI.

Thanks!

use ground when arm wire to activate the fuel cut. then use a status to interrupt the ground when armed.
