I'm in the process of installing an alarm on my 05 Nissan Titan LE and I have purchased the DEI 556u immobilizer bypass module and I would like to know if I need to use the ring that come with the bypass module or can I tap into the factory immobilizer system.

with that model you need to use the ring... dei makes applications (make specific) that you tie into the immobilizer system.
