I have been reading up on installing a remote start on my 91 caprice for a while now I just haven't heard about where to get the power for the relay from do I hook all my relays up to my ignition 12volt supply and whats the best connectors to use to hook up my relay.

Not sure what you mean by relay. Most newer remote start systems have built in relays. Most commonly you connect the relay wiring into your ignition switch wiring. Constant, ignition, accessory, and starter wires are all found here. Always solder and tape your connections.

you don't need any additional relays just the ones that came with the remote start.

try starting the car with the key the hit the remote start button wait till the relay clicks and parking lights come on then take the key out if it stays running then double check starter relay wires
