Hey i was wondering if anyone out there new how to install DEI's 530T window roll up module? Ive got it working but for some reason my windows go down 2 inches and stop. The drivers door has "one touch" but  i cant seem to find the relays that make it work. Ive hooked up right after the window motor and at the switch but they never roll all the way down. If anyone has some suggestions i would really apreciate it.

when it only rolls a few inches, are you using the switch or are you using a channel output ?

if its the output that is doing it then the pulse may not be the right kind. if  you pulse the 530t then it vents (2 inches) if you have a longer ground... it will roll all the way down.

if its from the switch, then it will be your resistance settings (there is a panel) there are 4 little white switches, read the manual on how to adjust

so setting the pin switces will fix that? i thought they were for adjusting the sensitivity of the movement.

no the switches adjust the resistance. (how it can tell if the window is in motion or stoped). if they are not set right.. it can cause the same problem you are having. if the drivers window and the passanger window are acting the same then it has nothing to do with the one touch. (if you only have drivers one touch) the 530T should allow you to have one touch for all windows that it is hooked up to.... its a little tricky getting use to !

yea both windows do the same thing. as a matter of fact the passenger window is delayed from the driver window. do you think the switches could be causing that too? I ran the window 2 wires from the 530T to the passenger door so that i could have the one touch for the both doors (man that was a bich!posted_image). I apreciate the info daze, i'll see if i can play around with the switches let me know wat you think about the passenger delay.

posted_image damn this things pissing me off! I cant get it to work right! I tried every combination of the dip switches and nothing works. Has anyone installed the 530T in an 2001 acord? Is there anything special I need to know about the windows and the one touch?

I ran 12awg wires over to the pass. window. And went to the switch in the drivers switch on the driver's side.

coo!posted_image well i hooked up to both doors from the 530T, and then to my alarm aux outputs. everything worked fine exept when i hit the aux 1 button on my remote the windows would go down and stop about two inches. when rolling down the passenger door was delayed from the driver door but when rolling up they were both in sinc. but would only roll up inch by inch. I re set all the dip switches to every possible combination and still no luck. am i doing something wrong? I thought i needed to bypass the one touch but the relays are in the switch apperantly. How did you install it?

Where did you ground the module?

i have installed 2 530t's in my 98 accord 4 door. what i did was i ran 12gauge wire to all doors so i can have 1 touch operation on all doors. i put the modules in the seatbelt pocket right on the pillar worked out great. i hooked then up by connectiing the wires as close as to the motor as possible everything when great on that part. then i test and they didn't work so on the side of the modules are the dip switches everybody is talking about i set then to a higher setting and everything worked like a charm. i would check your wiring once again and make sure your close to the motor then try the dip switches but remember there's 1 dip switch i think it's all the way to the right witch is for the -/+ in put make sure is set to the positve in put good luck

Check to make sure you are tapped into the circuit after the window module. You can not have any relay's or window control modules in line with 530t's or they will not work. Make sure your grounds are good. Honda uses a very efficient window/motor so it should not take much resistence to close them.

I would double check the wiring...My wires are directly at the switch on both windows. ( I have a coupe.) As far as the dip switches the drivers window is set low, while the pass. window is set higher because that is a long current run.

In addition to the ground info I pm you, it also looks like you must run wires from each door in order to have the module work correctly.
