Installed the alarm...dual stage shock worked fine in the beginning during pre-test....

Finished install and now if wont light up (test led) at all.

Checked the voltage on the red wire and it's 12 volts with alarm off.  Shouldn't it be 12 volts with alarm on???

Can trigger the alarm by grounding the two wires...warn away and full... ground wire is also good... I think something is wrong with power wire.

Don't have the remote start hooked up, nor any pin switches.... I only have the purple (+) wire hooked up into the dome light activation to cover the doors when opened.

Thanks, Ed

The power wire should be hot all the time. I would say the sensor is bad.

When I referred to the power wire, I'm talking about the small one that is in the 4 wire loom coming from the sensor.

This should be hot all the time?  I would think only when armed.

Thanks for responding btw....

There might be a time delay for the impact sensor. I know some alarm systems have anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes before impact sensor coverage is initialized.

this unit has a built in shock sensor try that you need to goint programming to adjust sensitivity.

Thanks Jeff...I knew you would chime in...your advice is always appreciated.

When testing in the beginning, the LED would light up right away when armed and then initialize 5 seconds later... It's not doing either right now.
