i had a code ca-640 installed in my car, the problems i am haveing are that the car is not sending a signal to the remote to inform me that the alarm has been set off.  And i am not getting a ground signal out of the alarm for the siren output.  i hooked up the brown wire to the factory horn and that works fine but nothing out of the sirens. let me know if you have any advice or input.

thanks justin

ok, i have figured out the siren thing, i really hate the set up but have to live with it for now. for those that don't know the ca640 does not have a siren out put but only a factory horn output.

Will this work????

i am going to use DEI 528T Timed Relay.  I am going to use the pulse signal that is sent to the factory horn when the alarm is tripped.  I will set the timer for 3 seconds so every time it gets a new pulse the sirens will sound for 3 seconds untill the alarm goes off.  will there be any problem with amperage, i will be running 2 small pizo's in the interior and one siren under the hood.

i greatly appreciate any help.

thanks justin

The CA-640 doesn't come with a standard siren. It comes with the "songbird" speaker. You hook it up to the outputs for it, and have to turn it on in order for it to work. A pulse timer should work fine.
