compustar 2WAMR, 1990 mazda rx7

I got a lot of extra time on my hands now because my license just got taken away for something that I'm not even guilty of. Anyways, I have 6 months until I can drive my car again so I plan on learning something. I just bought a compustar 2WAMR alarm system. In the box it came with Compustar AS controller (CM3000), one 2 way remote, one one way remote,antenna, shock sensor, siren, and lots of wires :D. Im am not too advanced when it comes to electronics so as I said, im hoping to learn something with the help of some patient individuals. I was planning on getting this installed at a shop but considering my conditions I would rather keep myself busy by working on my car. I am also not expecting to install this in a day or 2, I dont mind if it takes me 3 months as long as I do it. My first question:

I would like to have the following features installed:
-working remote start
-basic alarm install
-immobalizer of some sort
-starter kill
-power door locking/unlocking
-hood and hatch pin
-LED light flashing when alarm is activated (mounted on back of rear view mirror)

Question: If all I have are the things listed in the first paragraph (stuff that came with the alarm), which other things will I need to accomplish my goals.

Some background information about my car:
-1990 mazda rx7 turbo II
-power doors, power windows
-2 door hatch back style
-standard transmission

Start by looking at a tech sheet, to help you locate wires and such

ya that looks a lot more user-friendly than what they gave me in the instruction booklet. But don't I need certain things? Like hood pins/trunk pins... maybe a few other things to make all those features work? I noticed that the kit came with a small LED but what I want is a long one, i dont know how to describe it. Would I just buy the long LED and plug it into where the small one goes instead of the small one?

• The remote start you will need to bypass the clutch switch with a relay.
• The basic alarm system you just have to tie into the door triggers, trunk trigger and add the supplied hood pin switch. The impact sensor will take care of the impact portion of the security
• Immobilizer . you can use the starter disable & if you want more, you can hook up other devices, but try to steer clear of an ignition disable.
• Power door locks you will need to add an actuator for the central door locking system that you have on the Mazda. The use of 2 relays is necessary to make this work.
• The LED that your speaking of is a scanner and all you need to do is wire in a relay to activate it when the system is armed.

wow thank you that cleared it up a bit. One quick thing though... I was having difficulties starting my car a while back because the clutch safety switch was messed up. So me and a friend just simply dissabled the switch so that I can start the car without having the clutch pressed in. Do I still need to bypass the clutch switch with a relay or is this fine?

I'd like to rephrase my last question. I was under the impression that if you have power door locks/windows that you dont need actuators? Could you possibly explain why I do? Also, where do i pick up a scanner? Where can I buy the hood/hatch switches?

If it's been permanently bypassed then you don't need a clutch bypass, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you leave the internal loop uncut for manual transmission vehicles so that you still have to place the system into ready mode for remote start.

You need an actuator because the Mazda uses a system where the driver's door lock controls the passenger side as well known as a central locking system. This system does not have an actual switch that controls the door locks so there is no control wire for each individual door lock motor, that is why you need an actuator to control the door locks.

The scanner's you can buy at any car audio/security shop or online somewhere and the hood pin switch you should have received one from the COmpustar package. It is part of the system when you buy a Compustar system ( unless the place you bought it from is hocking the pin switches  )

ok that makes sense. Haha well to my knowledge it didnt come with any hood pin switches or anything. All of the places I've been asking for quotes have been saying that its $25 per pin switch. I'll see if I can buy one from instalation places but I hope they aren't $25 a piece :P.

Ok I came across another thing that I'm wondering. The shock absorber, it only comes with one so where is the ideal place to mount it?
