I have an Astrostart and I think it is a 2106 (It has a 6-button remote, but not an alarm).  I want to pull it out of an 88 Camry and put it into a 95 Windstar.  I can figure out what every wire is for by labeling them while I unistall it, but I am looking for some more detailed installation instructions like how to change the polarity of the door locks from neg to pos, and how to learn the tach again on the new vehicle, as well as anything else that I will need to do to get this thing working.  An Astrostart dealer was able to give me an owners manual but could not give me installation instructions.

Well, first I would need to know the model # for sure and also the color of the writing on the back of the module (blue or black). 

If it is a 2106 it has built in relays for the door locks so to change from - to + all you have to do is hook up the 87 wires (the ones with the fuses, blue white and brown white) to + instead of -. 

The astro starts do not have a tach learning, you have to program in the cylinder setting and idle rpm.
