This wire is a bit painful to get at. It's on the passeger side fire wall. A big plug with a million wires attach to it. You will probably find two tan / YELLOW wire. The painful one to get to is the correct one, so don't bother with the first one that you find.
Tachometer tan / YELLOW AC PCM
FORD, EXPLORER, 1995, Tachometer
The PCM is located at the top of the firewall towards the passenger side, the tan / YELLOW tach wire is also found at the back of the instrument cluster.
