Whats up gang? I am new here and hopefully I can get info. i work in sales at a Toyota store and I purchased a private party used 2000 4runner 4X4 out of the autotrader.

I had a 2004 camry before and the vehicle had a plug under the dash that the alarm plugged into. worked awsome...

My new 2000 4runner does not. is there a wiring harness that I need to hook up so the alarm will plug into it?

I hope this is understandable....

thanks, cR@zY

you need to get another wire harness for a  4040 Karr alarm and re-install on your new car sorry theres no plug, that would be too easy.

If you do run into a harness, you should feel free to not have a KARR alarm installer do the work for you.  There are only a handful that know what they're doing.  The rest are butchers.
