That would be OmegaGPS - range = anywhere on earth using GPS (well I'm sure there are .01% areas on earth where you may not get a GPS signal).

If I'm not mistaken most of the GPS alarm/tracking systems actually use cellular to transmit and satelite only for the GPS signal. As far as one-way alarms, I don't know of any that can compete with 2way pagers. I have the Ungo SR5000, it really does work at about 1/4 mile. It works while I'm inside at work, and I have never been far enough away from my vehicle that I could still see it and not be able to start it.

I called Omega to see about there GPS system and there customer service and tech support couldn't tell me squat.  It's not out yet and none of the omega dealerships have it.  It won't be out for another month or more.  Looked like a nice system can do lots of convience items as well as location of the vehicle.  The only bad thing is there support department needs a new attitude!  Good luck trying to get any answers out of them.

Yeah I konw.  They've had the GPS listed on the site for 2 yrs+.  They have it running I think for truck fleets.  There are some other alarms with telematcis upgrades it just seems to be hard to find the modules (a dealer can get it easy).

audiovox also makes an alarm/starter that can be controlled by phone via satelite.
