just got it today..  it has two parts..  here is what is written on it..

DEI 710-12 PIN primary HARNESS

(pin out compatible with 437/438/448 Series all outputs limited to 200mA Max)

RED / WHITE (-) OUTPUT Channel 2

RED (+) INPUT 12V Power

BROWN (-) OUTPUT Horn Honk

YELLOW (+) INPUT Switched Ignition

BLACK (-) INPUT Chasis Ground

BLACK/ WHITE (-) OUTPUT Domelight

WHITE/ BLUE (-) OUTPUT Channel 3

WHITE (-) OUTPUT Parking Lights

ORANGE (-) OUTPUT When Armed

1. PIN (blue) PLUG IN VALET/PROGRAM SWITCH

2. PIN (small) PLUG IN STATUS LED (low voltage)

3. PIN: GREEN: (-) LOCK, (+) UNLOCK

why is there two modules?  is one an alarm and the other remote start?  i'm missing two harness can i get them from DEI?  expensive?

The second part is simply a bank of relays....most other brands build the relays inside the unit.  DEI's method makes mounting the relays a chore, but you can also reconfigure a lot of stuff to make the installation easier.

As for the harnesses you're missing.  Take what you have to the install bay of your local Best Buy or Circuit City-----most installers have all manner of spare parts in their toolboxes.....bring cash.
