Subject: Installing Viper 791XV on 01 Integra

Hi guys I'm new to the forum but there seems to be a great wealth of information.  I've read through them, searched, and still have questions specific to my installation.  So here i go:

Background: The install will be on an 01 Acura Integra, 5Spd.  The alarm I chose was the Viper 791XV w/ Remote Start because I heard good things, plus it had the 2way pager function.  I would like to install an Engine Start button like the ones found on S2000's but I haven't gotten around to it, and I wasn't too sure if it would affect the alarm functions or wiring whether I install it before or after the alarm.  I have experience working with car audio, but this is my first venture into security but I feel it will be well worth it knowing I installed it myself.  I will probably allocate a weekend to do this job taking apart the car to hide the brain, solder connections, split loom, heat shrink tube and zip tie everything.  And here comes my questions.

When installing the relays and connecting them to a 12V source, Would I have to fuse each relay to the battery or fuse box or will it be sufficient to tap into any 12v source w/o a fuse?  The reason I ask is for a number of reasons.  I would not want a thief to see 4 different wires going to the battery for the relays and it would make a cleaner install without having numerous relays wired to the same power source.  Also, how many relays would I need for the install.  I have 3 right now, each 20/30 amp rated.  I was assuming 1 for power locks, 1 for parking lights, and 1 as extra.  The installation manual didn't specify which outputs needed relays.

I also bought a mini piezo siren that I plan to mount under my steering column or pointed in the general direction so that the thief would have an extremely difficult time fumbling with wires down there while they try to dismantle the alarm or hotwire the car.  For obvious reasons I wouldnt' want the piezo siren going off everytime the alarm went off, only as a backup siren.  How would I wire it so that the piezo siren would go off when, the wires to the underhood siren are cut or disconnected?  Also, is there any easy way that I could run the piezo siren off of a rechargeable battery that charges itself along with the charging system?  Or would I be better off using a 9 volt battery that needs to be replaced every couple months and in that case how often should I be replacing that battery (I'm unaware of the shelf life of a battery in a circuit that isn't used)?

Can anyone recommend a bypass kit for the key transponder that doesn't utilize an unused key that needs to be hidden?  Something relatively inexpensive and easy to install.

Regarding the Remote Start, I understand many people strongly discourage it on an MT, but I plan on using a switch that disables the RS when the car is parked in gear.  Would a normally closed switch that opens when the shifter is in gear work?  Which output or input should the switch be connected to?

I understand this is a bit of a long post and I'm sorry for that but I am asking for help, not demanding it, to install the alarm.  Having said this, which wires going to the brain would need to be connected and which ones not-specific to my installation?  I see theres a  -door trigger and a +door trigger,  In these situations, I only use the wire pertaining to my specific vehicle correct?

Thank you in advance for your inputs I appreciate it.  I'm sure there will be many more questions ahead.

sorry i sent twise if you don't want to use the key use the 556h, read the whole manual before u do it, and u need to bypass the clutch, which is a relay at the dkp, u can get a back up battery and use a relay for the small siren, you don't need a relay for power locks, as u see the car has negative power locks.posted_image

What about the 555H?  I just ordered one from ebay, is the key required for that one?
