every install guide i see , says to tap power for windows to ign, is there any reason why i can't tie into accessory?

could be that most cars have only got a small wire for acc not allot of current draw but on ign wire it is big so it can deal with it if you want use a relay and use your acc to turn the relay on then it can be used for your power windows
