I am sorry if this isn't where this thread goes.. This is my first post here. I took my car to an autobody shop and my car ended up getting stripped... 18"s got stollen and everything else of value except my alarm.. It was the guys at the shop that did it... they just went bankrupt and left my car stranded and won't give me a dime.. I'm working with the courts on that but that's another issue...

My reason for posting here is because my alarm isn't working now that I got my car back.. The remote works fine, it locks, unlocks, and even starts my car however the alarm itself is not turning on. The LED is just a solid blue, no chirps or anything and you can stick your arm through the window(proximity sensor) or hit the car as hard as you want and not even a sound... I have my car back on the road again but I'm afraid to put my new audio/video equipment in there until I get the alarm fixed.. I searched the forum for "solid light LED" and tried reading the owners manual online but it just confused me.. all I could find is functions with the remote, replacing the batter and other stupid stuff.. Thanks for any help guys/gals.

the alarm might be in valet mode, try opening  one door and then pressing lock/ulock/lock on your remote.
