My truck has a feature where after you shut it off it keeps the radio powered and what not till you open the door.  After I do a remote start and shut down the truck won't arm cause the door hasn't been triggered (I never entered or left the vehicle) and it sees the radio is still powered.  My question is how do i make it pulse the door trigger to think the door was opened?  What alarm wire usually goes ground after the remote start is stopped and the alarm is re-armed?

Thanks.

Ryan

What system are you using ? Some alarms have an option that pulses after remote start shutdown. If your system does not have this option you can always use one of the AUX channels to pulse a (-) signal to the door trigger wire to mimic the door opening.

You can use the trunk release wire for this. It's a (-) trigger that you can manually remote activate with a pulse.
