does your remote start install look like this? a customer with a chevy truck that had a remote start installed by another local shop came in with problems like, well, it didn't work. can't figure out why...

That is bad.  did you send that individual back to the shop that installed it or did your shop fix the problem for more business?

I would tell him to go back to the shop, get his money back, and you fix it for him, and get some cash for it also.

That is so ugly.  They did a horrible job.  Looks like a monkey was trying to make a nest or something!

thats not even the worst one i've seen come out of that shop. i completely uninstalled and reinstalled the starter.

The problem is no doubt the fact that they used scotchloks to make their connections. I would re-install and solder the connections.

The problem is the Installer. he should be brought to a proper shop and shows how to make things neat
